Frita Batidos opens today on Knox. Dallas Burger Week and the Salty Donut × Natalie’s Juice collab both start today (through Aug. 23). Keep It Cool Weekend’s Sunday session was yesterday. Eater Dallas is not usable this week — the site is still serving 2025 maps.
Eater Dallas’s homepage is stale: Fall 2025 Essential 38, December 2025 heatmap, and news items dated 2025. This brief is CultureMap, the Dallas Morning News, the Observer, and the Farmers Market. A “Dallas Summer Market & Food Truck Festival” and a Texas Spice “Farm to Flame” dinner appeared only on aggregator calendars and were left out. Juliet Steak (Facebook “August”) was not corroborated. Shake Shack in Highland Village and Walk-On’s in Wylie are suburban chain openings we are not featuring.

Fort Worth’s burger week finally gets a Dallas twin the same week. Crave DFW (July 15) said both cities also planned a Saturday kickoff at Heim BBQ — Fort Worth’s later CultureMap says the FW party is Aug. 16. We have not seen a separate, dated Dallas Heim kickoff this week, so Dallas is listed as the $8 week only.
